4th of July is the only independence celebration I will recognize. What did Mexico get it's independence from? They are in debt to us in the trillions. They depend on us to defend them militarily. They depend on us to employ over 80% of their northern population illegally in the US. Fuck their independence. Mexico is just an extension of our south western states.
On the other hand, a day to party with Corona's and burritos isn't all that bad.
