Nonsense, Vin Diesel is fuckin cool. He's not Jude Law cool but he's Wesley Snipes cool.

Quote:I hated Minnie Driver in Good Will Hunting.

That chick's gotta settle on a fucking accent. I have no clue where the fuck she's from.

- HedCold - 12-22-2003

i have no problems with matt damon

- QuickStop - 12-22-2003

i think matt damon is cool. unlike affleck, i can tolerate him outside of kevin smith movies. affleck is only tolerable in kevin smith movies...nothing else.

GonzoStyle Wrote:Matt Damon in Saving Private Ryan, it trully made you hate the fact that they had to go and lose Vin Diesel and Giovanni Ribisi to save Matt fuckin Damon. Couldn't they have made it someone likeable, I woulda settled for Ted Danson as private ryan over Matt Damon.
i am so with you on that. i hate matt damon. i hate ben affleck too.

Quote:and the blonde kid who i can't think of his name

jared leto ruins fight club. i can't stand him.

jada pinkett ruins the last two matrix movies. she always has to bring her fucking personality into everything.

Jamie Lee Curtis in Trading places was horrible

I didn't care for Nick Nolte in 48 hours neither

I can't really think of anyone I didn't like in Se7en though.

Tom Cruise in Rain Man

Danny's girlfriend is Caddyshack is the reason this theory was created.
Adrian in all the Rocky movies
Adrienne in Pulp Fiction

These are all Bill Simmons' top three picks when he discussed this

nicole kidman in anything

He almost ruins Requiem for a Dream with me. But then I calm myself with the fact that I will soon be seeing Jennifer Connoly double-donging a stripper while men surround them screaming "CUM! CUM! CUM! CUM!".

- PlasticMan - 12-23-2003

The really, REALLY fat guy ruined 7 for me. Seriously makes me want to throw up every time I see that scene.

Didn't mind Matt Damon in SPR.

And come on, you had to like Jada's "She's got a FAT ASS." comment in Matrix 3.

- criticslovesnatch - 12-23-2003

do you just study bill simmons and take his opinion on everything, or are you just gonna give in and finally admit to us that you actually are bill simmons after all?

Luke Wilson sometimes ruins the movies he is in. He kinda kills Old School, the only good scene is when he says "i love you" to elisha cuthbert.

I watched Dr. Strangelove last night, I was stumped when I couldn't find a single bad cast member. George C. Scott is so amazing in it.

George Lucas

i heard that he hated the way he looked in that movie because after each take, kubrick would tell him to do it way over the top, and he used most of those takes. so scott thought he looked stupid in the movie.

p.s. that movie is awesome.

- GonzoStyle - 01-02-2004

that's why scott wasn't the director, his whole character was over the top and his over the top acting and mannerisms is what makes his character so awesome.

watching him trip over when he's in the war room and describing the B-52's, gems.

Ofcourse Peter Sellers was great as all 3 characters but mainly as Strangelove. You could see as he kept on calling the president "mein fuhrer" and couldn't control his hand, that the guy playing the russian ambassador kept on trying not to laugh and was biting his lip but there was still a slip where he laughs.

- QuickStop - 01-02-2004

"my hand does things that i do not want it to do"

oh yeah..i think i read that merkin (the prez's first name) actually means "pubic wig"

- GonzoStyle - 01-02-2004

and you gotta love Jack D. Ripper and his whole "bodily fluids" theory.

I watched the documentary on the dvd and Kubrick set out to make a serious film, which actually was made by someone else the same year called "Fail-Safe" with Henry Fonda and Walter Matthau.

But while writing the script he and his friend who was helping him they would have some drinks and by like 2AM they would start getting silly with the script. Then they started writing a seperate script which eventually became strangelove and he scrapped the idea of the serious version.

- QuickStop - 01-02-2004

awesome

- GonzoStyle - 01-02-2004

Fail-Safe was actually a good movie as well but it came out almost back to back with Strangelove. It was the same exact premise except Fail-Safe was a completely serious take on the subject and while well done it doesn't compare to Strangelove.
