My professor was talking about traffic court the other day, he said that when he's trying to plea a case, he gets there REALLY early, and goes over to the prosecutor and asks them if they can talk when they get a chance and then he leaves them alone for as long as it takes...he said approaching them early and like that leaves them more willing to bargain. Just thought I'd pass on the advice.

In every municipal court I've been to in jersey, you stand in line for the prosecutor before you even go into the court room. Last time I went the line was at least 50 people deep. and this was an hour before court was due to start.
