Yeah....great.........LONG DUCK DONG! (But I don't have the pic on file)

Anyway....back to the fagget stuff. MY source:

The Contemporary Dictionary of Slang by Tony Thorne
fag get n.
1 British an unattractive or disrepuatable woman. This is now an outdated term, some three hundred years old, but is still heard in the phrase 'old fagget', but has otherwise largely disappeared due to the influence of the following American sense of the word.
2American a homosexual man. It is not certain wheteher this term is an embellished version of fag, derived from the old British sense of the word (above), or is a native American invention. The second alternative appears the most likely.

It takes an English teacher to explore more than one source. There's a reason some words aren't in the dictionary, kids. Research is essential to learning.

You are far too obsessed with faggots.

hmm... research into SLANG gives us:
(again, according to WEBSTER's, generally agreed upon as being the basic repository of english language and definition in the U.S.)
Main Entry: 1slang
Pronunciation: 'sla[ng]
Function: noun
Etymology: origin unknown
Date: 1756
1 : language peculiar to a particular group: as a : ARGOT b : JARGON 2
2 : an informal nonstandard vocabulary composed typically of coinages, arbitrarily changed words, and extravagant, forced, or facetious figures of speech

When we check "nonstandard" to see what they mean by that definition, we find:

Main Entry: non·stan·dard
Pronunciation: -'stan-d&rd
Function: adjective
Date: 1923
1 : not standard
2 : not conforming in pronunciation, grammatical construction, idiom, or word choice to the usage generally characteristic of educated native speakers of a language -- compare SUBSTANDARD

In conclusion, Mc Bourbon is either
A: NOT Educated
or
B: A Commie Pinko Bastard trying to corrode AMERICAN values and language by teaching improper, NONSTANDARD "slang" spelling to our nation's youth.

-edit- Then again, now that i think about it.. Webster's also added a definition for "Jiggy".. so maybe I shouldn't really trust it....

i'm sure there's many jokes i could make here but quite frankly the thought of this goon teaching america's youth scares the bejebus out of me so i'll just quiver in the corner.

:clueless:

It's actually spelled "bejesus". Not "bejebus". And it shouldn't scare you..we had a riveting discussion on Lord of the Flies today in relation to Jack, Ralph, and Piggy being symbolic representations of Freud's Id, Ego, and Super ego. Would you like to fuck yourself now? Or do you prefer to wait until later?
