because it's Indiana. They have nothing else.

- GonzoStyle - 10-16-2005

- The Jays - 10-16-2005

- Sir O - 10-16-2005

Why is Yankee baseball so important?

- The Jays - 10-16-2005

I don't see no other college team get exclusive national coverage from the big three

- HedCold - 10-16-2005

i think they're not affiliated with any league, so they're allowed to make special deals or something
i don't know if thats true though

- GonzoStyle - 10-16-2005

they really blew up after that Rudy movie.

- The Sleeper - 10-16-2005

the usc game was fucking insane

- crx girl - 10-16-2005

they're not in any conference, they're an independent team, and they're legendary. knute rockne? a lot of new yorkers are notre dame fans because the local teams suck. although rutgers beat the shit out of syracuse tonight which is pretty wacky. and they're back in contention, that usc game was ridiculous.

that was my exact initial reaction too.

They are famous because they have a storied history and a bunch of idiot fools grow up being seduced by that history thinking that they have something special.

- HollywoodJewMoses - 10-16-2005

only notre dame home games are on NBC.

they have games on espn and abc also.

- Keyser Soze - 10-17-2005

If you don't get a warm fuzzy feeling at the end of that movie then you have no heart.
