Time for the other end of the spectrum here. What are the best finishers out there, Today or yesteryear...

Ray Stevens-Piledriver-A great move from the master of the piledriver
Austin-Stunner-The move that launched a career. 'Nuff said
Sean Stasiak's father(his name escapes me right now) Heart-punch-A truly punishing move
Jimmy Snuka-The Superfly-No comment needed
Supernova(ecw guy)-Any move he came up with was a damn good finisher
Dudley Boyz--3d-A very nice looking move, even if it is predictable as hell

- fbd - 01-23-2002

tazmission-genuine pain, and a fast chokeout
sharpshooter-more real pain.it fucking hurt like hell
boston crab-back in the day, when it won matches, was good
almost any ken shamrock move
any suplex as it is developed.they get played out, but who didnt love the perfect plex when it was a finisher, or the top rope superplex when it was new

- Skitchr4u - 01-23-2002

i think that the super bomb (by the pit bulls in ecw) was a great finisher. when the dudleys started doing it, through the table with tacks or on fire, it made it even better.

3-D is a good finisher

Nova's novacaine was cool ... at least i think that is what it was called.

and the one that dr. tom pritchard used was cool too

- Gooch - 01-23-2002

Snuka: definately one of the best...just look at the effects now
Benoit: Flying Headbutt
RVD's: Five Star Splash
Austin: Stunner
HHH: Pedigree

- Spitfire - 01-23-2002

Pedigree
Van-Daminator/Van-Terminator
Tajiri and Whipwreck's finisher
Farooq's Dominator just look like it fucking hurts!

Quote:almost any ken shamrock move
man, I miss when he used to go insane and not let go of the Ankle Lock Submission until he almost broke the guy's ankle!

Yeah, funny how Angle not only ripped off the move but the whole not letting go shtick as well. It still rocked when Kenny won and lost the IC title to the Rock for not letting go though.

Luger's torture rack was fuckin great even though the guy had the worst ring presense this side of Shit pac.

Jake's DDT was killer the way Gorrilla and the Brain hyped it. Now, even Trish does one, for shame!

Benoit's crossface:that looks so fuckin painful.

The figure four: Only because my brother put it on me as a kid. damn, I limped for a fuckin week!

- AFDude - 01-23-2002

They aren't finishing moves, but any of the high flying shit the Hardys do. Those two are fucking insane, especially during those classic table/ladders/chairs matches they had with the Dudleys, Edge and Christian.

- GonzoStyle - 01-23-2002

Taz - Tazzmission (the proper way to put on a sleeper)
Stone Cold - Stunner
Nash - Jacknife Powerbomb
Shawn Michaels - Superkick (even though everyone does it now
RVD - Van daminator, Van Terminator, 5 star frog splash
Ric Flair - Figure Four (the quintesetial finisher)
Iron Shiek - Camel Clutch
Koko B Ware - Ghostbuster
Bob Backlund - Chickenwing Crossface
Jessie The Body - Inverted Body Vice (original version of the torture rack)
The Undertaker - Tombstone

- The Dragon - 01-24-2002

Hayabusa - Phoenix Splash

Chris Candido - Blonde Bombshell aka
Mike Awesome - Super Awesome Bomb

Rhino - The Gore

Justin Credible - That's Incredible

Taz - Kataha Jime

Undertaker - The Last Ride

Nova - Spin Doctor

Nova & Chris Chetti - Tidal Wave
