Lots of beta software
Anyone here ever participate in a beta test? Know any good places for it?
I know they have ones for hardware and non-computer stuff, but didn't see any while doing a quick search.
Thought it might be interesting if a few people signed up for different ones and posted about what they were testing and what it was like.
Any thoughts?

I've beta tested for several years, different things at different times.
sometimes I've done it directly for the company (Microsoft, AOL, Adobe, Intuit, etc.), but mostly through
<a target="new" href="http://www.betasphere.com/">Betasphere</a>
the last thing I tested was a HP120 digital camera. you fill out an application, and when they have a project they e-mail you. I enjoy doing it (I like fuckin around), but some people have bad experiences with crashes.
