The polls show he is leading over Kerry right now,
I'd love someone to explain to me "why".....

it flips back and forth. kerry had the news...media attention, so then lead in polls, then quieted down. Now Bush has been appearing more...so polls have reversed. It will go back an forth depending...and will depend a lot on how things pan out and how Kerry camp can get itself back in the news, etc when it really matters...Oct thru Nov

only because in my opinion, bush should be run out of town on a rail,
it should not even be close.
since it seems he has the edge,
I was wondering if someone here supports him
and could articulate why.

Cuz Kerry looks like a dick too.
Every time I see a video of Kerry from the 70's, blah blah blahing on peace, his face just pisses me off and makes me wish i had a time machine to travel back in time and punch him in the face. He just has one of those mugs that makes you want to punch him.
Everyone wants Bush out of office, but you democrats selected a terrible canidate.

Galt, since the Republican President, and the Repubican congress has spent sooooooooo much money on pork, waged a war of faulty premise, and gave tax cuts to the rich and created an enormous deficit,
isn't raising taxes one prudent step necessary to get the budget back in line?
I would like to hear statements from you on what you think bush has done right,
aside from not raising taxes, and your not wanting to punch him in the face.

NO ONE WANTS BUSH IN OFFICE! HE HASNT DONE A GOOD JOB ON THE MAJORITY OF ISSUES!
I understand that you want to take out your disgust on the members of the board who lean to the right, and that you are baffled by the polls that show Bush leading Kerry, but I'm simply not going to defend him anymore.
As far as the Republican Congress goes, all I can do is vote out the three people who represent me there; Senators Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton, and Representative Vito Fossella. But I like Vito.
