bars are the worst on any night

- Gooch - 01-02-2005

i don't mind the bars if...

A, they aren't jam-packed
B. You are with interesting people or good friends

that said...i have NEVER done a bar on New Years eve. Always parties or soirees of some sort...or just spent it with family/friends at my own place.

- HedCold - 01-02-2005

why go out ever if you aren't going to mock people?

- Galt - 01-02-2005

Yeah, maybe you guys would feel more comfortable on wackbag.

au contraire, mon ami!
a bar can be a great night. some of the best nights of my life were in bars. i just dont like a bar with a frat atmosphere. never have, never will. good friends, a good jukebox, and good beer on tap are a recipe for fun, fun, fun!

- Gooch - 01-02-2005

does that jukebox need to have Roxy Music on it?

- diceisgod - 01-02-2005

How about a pool tournament with some 'good friends'?

it's a pretty popular sentiment

I spent new years eve watching the honeymooners marathon with a bunch of friends, we had oodles of fun.
