ZombiePyre (11:32:38 PM): OA.com was the first messageboard I ever posted on. Back when I was still a huge fan of O&A, I heard them mention the site 3 times an hour, so I wanted to check it out.

ZombiePyre (11:35:13 PM): oh yeah, I love that place. It's the one forum where they all make a legitmate attempt to keep drama off the boards, so the place it just fun. Most of the people there are people like me, left another messageboard due to shitty drama.

ZombiePyre (11:47:39 PM): I've always thought of it in these terms: when you are on a messageboard, you stay as long as it's entertaining. I've always looked at drama as not entertaining, that's probably why I left so many forums.

ZombiePyre (11:49:47 PM): absolutely not. It depends on who is running the place. If the owner of the board doesn't stop drama, then the mentality will happen. If it's shutdown immediately, then it's never a problem.

It's not because I don't like Eddie (whom I cannot say enough good things about), it's not because I hate anybody on CDIH, I just don't understand that "go for the jugular" mentality.

ZombiePyre (12:07:37 AM): it's hard to describe SA without actually seeing it. Essentially, you can do anything you want. One of the main reasons there isn't drama there is because many of those people are sick and tired of drama from previous messageboards, and just want to have fun. The site has close to 35,000 ACTIVE users, so they must be doing something right.

Seph tried to get me to go to the SA forums once, a while ago - it seemed like a really cool place to post, but there was just so many forums & people there, I had no idea how the hell I'd get to it all. It just seemed too enormous to "jump into", as they say.
