i always wondered how people were able to get past the people at tv stations to get on the air like that. like, don't they check to make sure its really them, or do they answer any call of someone claiming to be that person and put them right through?
i know the news shows are always trying to be the first to get some eye witness account or "famous" person on the air, but still
