| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jun. 01 | Mario Cantone is funny as hell. He does some pretty amazing impressions. Wonderama and Steampipe Alley were my babysitters almost every week. | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | FallenAngel, Both were on Sundays only. I also went to one of the Wonderama Roadshows at my NJ HS when I was in Elementary School. Ant is right. I saw Bob McCallister smoking. My HS Spanish teacher said he spoke to Bob, and all he kept saying was Fucking Kids the whole time! What a nightmare; to hate kids & have to work with them practically everyday, with a big smile on your face. I also thought that the games on SteamPipe Alley were bizarre! It was the only non-News show on at that time, so I watched it. We got to see if we could get our hands on some of his old footage. It would probably be hysterical now. | Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Remembering Steampipe Alley brings back fond memories of better days. I used to watch the show every Sunday afternoon in total bewilderment as Mario's obviously adult, and sometimes very funny humor just flew sky high over the heads of whiney, irritated, pants-crapping kids. It was like Romper Room on crack. I never understood the reasoning behind its inception. P.S. Even then I knew Mario was geeeeey... (I may be older than a lot of you). Homo oozed from him like pus from a poison ivy blister. | Hanger-On Registered: Aug. 01 | I think the reason why I did Like Steam Pipe Alley back whene I was in 4th grade, was because I did actually realise, alot of the jokes where not intended for kids! Hell, it was more fun to watch than Captain Kangaroo and that Zooblie zoo crap! Damn, now I'm on a nostalgia trip, back to whene I was a kid and life was simple. Back then I though it was a deal to be getting 2 dollers a week to take out the garbage and do simple tasks around the house. 2 dollers could by a whole lotta Bazooka gum back then.
