| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70  | As many of you either saw or heard yes we were majorly spammed today. Eevery forum was covered from page 1 in some cases page 2 as well with the same topic plus they were all -1 topics. The reason i am posting this is that in deleting those topics i may have deleted a couple topics of some non spamming members by accident. Most likely 1 or 2 so if your topic is missing in any forum and you posted before between 11 am 0 1pm today don't think it was because a mod intended to. It was an honest mistake. We deleted between 300 - 400 topics between slash and myself so 1 or 2 may have gotten caught in the crossfire, we apologize in adavance. Anyway slash is always the careful one so i am speaking for myself. Slash always wipe the cum off my back when he is done i just let it dry up. This is a message board that is paid for out of pocket by our owner Froy and if you wanna advertise you can but you'll have to chip in for the bill, lol. Unless it is an O&A event like bar 9 or something that is ok. But when it translates to you plugging stuff then it's not cool. especially in your first 5 posts. If you are a veteran member and we know you and once in a while you plug something it's ok BUT never when it makes you money. Because people have paid lots of dues to keep this place up and not for someone to come and use it for monetary uses. So don't treat this place like Ebay or the classifieds or a dating service and you will do fine. If the party if free of a cover charge and you wanna do a little party for board members then maybe we could work something out. EDIT: also Mcfly the General Discussion forum is for topics directly related to the show. Like stuff they talked about or news on O&A or guests etc etc Other than that please use Off Topic or the appropriate forums like music, or sports. and yes adoption is a good idea, not cause i think you can't handle yourself but it will help you to learn the ropes. Click Here For The Adoption Thread Do not post you wanna be adopted look for people offering adoption and IM or E-mail them. You can look up a persons e-mail and/or IM name with the little white index card looking icon under a persons user name and post count info. I just wanted to let you know I was not making any money for the party...I totally understand the cost to keep one of these sites up...I have tried in the past with different web sites...its hard! I understand the advertising really helps... The proceeds were going to a non profit organization called the LPCA, the money goes to buy sports equipment... I will try not to F up anymore.......
