They sure have been great in finding a way to slowly work the humor into the show without avoiding the topic of the disasters.

It's amazing how much better these guys have gotten since they were in Boston (and they were great then)

Nothing makes me harder than the thought of my lips wrapped around a pulsating cock, awaiting that one second when it will explode with semen, flooding my throat and nostrils until I choke. What's truly sad is that other stations are playing these pieces of crap like they're the greatest thing to come out. Like these people were moved by this event and needed to express their feelings. Hey, I was moved too, but I'm not recording a song trying to get some free airplay in the hopes I'll be discovered. Its a very selfish act disguised as a good cause. Want to show you're moved? Try volunteering or giving blood, get knee deep in the shit and then try telling me how important your music is to the world you self-serving bastards!!!

Beavis and butthead Rule. If that show was on comedy central it would have still been on. MTV has too many gay fucking rules. Those songs are so bad they are funny. I cannot believe that people actual send them in with there names on it.

God Bless The USA.

As I was listening to the Monsters of Midday song, I knew they had ripped it off. I was surprised that O and A hadn't known that.

That "open letter" was one of the emails that I got the most.

I remember thinking how tacky it sounded when reading it with the whole, you hit our buildings but you missed America, and that "we don't live in America, America lives in us"

Ugh, it was AWFUL

Actually Comedy Central wouldn't be a good home for Beavis and Butt-head since it really was an MTV show mroe than a CC show with the music and style and all. And CC wasn't really as established or accessible as MTV even though B&B DID put MTV on the map.

Also it was Judge himself who decided to end Beavis and Butt-head's run since a) he ran out of ideas, b) it was hard for him to continue after such a cool movie (and yes I thought the B&B movie was awesome), and c) FOX paid him a lot more for King of the Hill (which I do watch and consider OK not as good as Future, Family or Simpsons but still an enjoyable half hour) and also so he could do Office Space. I hearad him say that he might bring the newsmaking duo back for another movie sometime in the future and I sure would be looking forward to that.

And Phantom, die.

Hey, IKEAboy, beavis and butthead far from put MTV on the map. They got people a little more interested on the station. No one can argue that, but they didn't 'make' or 'popularize' the station. MTV (the most evil channel on television) was already established. Anyway, I think that B&B are the best thing that MTV has ever allowed on there airwaves. . . . and its the only impression that Opie does well.

i think they didn't just gave MTV little attention. when b&b first came on the air there was little attention paid to MTV. it wasn't overly huge anymore. but when this cartoon attracted people looking for a different type of show, people not just wanting to see music (this was when MTV played music) and wanted to laugh. MTV definitely did more than just sparked a little interest.

Yegh, Ikea, I think I just figured out a dissappointing point. The birth of Beavis and Butthead unfortunaletly lead to a series of shows that took over from the music. It made MTV think that shows are better than the music that we all want to hear. Bunch of faggeets.
