This email was forwarded along to me from the higher-ups. Take it for what it's worth.

You see, what happened is I stop by this Andrew Dice Clay website every now and then, http://www.angelfire.com/ny2/diceman and the other day I saw a poll there. Who wants to see Ford Fairlane 2. So I e-mailed the guy who built the site, named Chris, and he told me (this is when I fell off the chair) that some screenwriter e-mailed him and said the script for the Ford Fairlane sequel was finished. It's called "Dirty Hairy", takes place in Las Vegas and involves Howard Stern as the Antichrist. (?!)

Chris also gave me the links to that screenwriter's website. There's the sequel's plot and script reviews on http://ineedajob.hollywood.com/reviews.html and also a new very cool Dice website that writer launched, http://diceman_rules.tripod.com So I was wondering if you guys heard anything about it or could maybe find out, when you have time.

If this is true, could we be seeing the big screen debut of O&A? Could the Stern thing be true? Would Dice fuck O&A over like that and put him in ther movie instead of them?

From rock 'n' roll to dice 'n' vice. Ford Fairlane and the gang continue their zany adventures, this time in Sin City, where they take on the king of shock jocks turned Antichrist. The most ridiculous, crazy, hilarious, and bizarre story ever, chock full of religious and action clichés, over the top attitude, and enough one-liners to fill a book. Just like the original. Only better.

sounds like a vehicle that can really goof on stern.

If Stern still had a sense of humor, he would do it, but with op and Ant as Jay and Silent Bob, like a spoof of Dogma.

After all, the interviewers all think Ant is Silent Bob already.

I don't think Dice would dick over O and A. Stern really hasn't done anything for him.

Actually Howie and Dice used to be good friends years ago, but had a falling out. Maybe they are friends again, and this will be his way to show it. Who knows.

One thing about Dice is that even if he still hated Stern he'd put him in a movie. It would get more people to see it and it would cause a buzz (sort of like it is right now). I personally don't think that a sequel to a sub-par early 90's flick is a good move for Dice. It will probably be like masterbating with a cheese grater..slightly amusing, but mostly painful..but whatever...it can't be a worse idea than Corky Romano, right?

EDIT: Now that I think about it, wouldn't Dice have said something to O&A about it? I mean he was plugging his stupid furturistic Collosium show or whatever it was..why no mention of this? And after looking over those links that Froy provided it seems more like Dice will be making fun of Stern in the movie, not actually having Stern in it. And why is every website about it low budget? They are all on free web servers, right?

Believe it or not, a LOT of people love Ford Fairlane. On a DVD MB I hang on, there are always people asking for its relese date on DVD, or any news of it coming out, etc. And the Amazon reviews were legit. I thought it was OK, and a sequel might do good, who knows? I think Dice would have to be back in the public eye more as a comic than a has-been for it to succeed though.

On another note...

After the tele-thong incident, I don' think O&A take Dice very seriously anymore. I don't think that them not being in Dice's "jump the shark" movie isn't going to effect them very much.

Disclaimer: I am not a fan of Stern. The following statement is only an analysis so don't give me shit for it.

The business benefits of choosing Stern over O&A is logical. the boys are only recently syndicated and very recently being recognized nationwide (through the articles written and syndication in general). Stern on the other hand already has an established NAME. he's got a movie to his credit. He'll draw more viewers than the boys because he has a bigger market presence (for the time being). If I wasn't biased against Stern and had to make a BUSINESS decision between the two, I'd go with Stern also. But I hate bastard and love O&A, so it doesn't matter.

Ever wonder what happens when you bite the hand that feeds you?

I think this web site is bull shit http://ineedajob.hollywood.com/reviews.html
I don't think www.hollywood.com would have "ineedajob" before there .hollywood.com. The background and fonts looks nothing like what hollywood.com uses on any of their web pages. It looks BS to me.
It's would be pretty funny if it really come out though. It is a good mock up of a fake site.

God Bless The USA.
