Maybe this belonged in the O&A.Com dialogue but I posted it here as a stand alone.
Many complaints within that thread were of the lack of GD posting. It seems to me that for a long while O&A were a highly interactive show, but that has lessened as of late.
The stinky cam is down. The show pictures on the web site are dated. There have been no contests of any sort. It seems there has been less reading of instant messages and I don't recall the last time there was a request for serious callers only. Most of the in studio guests are show veterans now and even the losers like Patty, Sandy Kane, RLS, Limo A etc. have become played. I think this board is reflecting changes to the show in general, in which fan access has become diminished. Is this reflective of the logical changes resulting from syndication or is this just hijinx hiatus due to 9/11.
But until something radical happens is the Norton controversy the only topic up for debate?

Harmless Teddy I wish Maynard was still posting here so I could implant my head up his ass.
Needle dick, bear salesman. I think I'm a revolutionary. Actually, I'm a one trick pony.

There definately is less show interaction, but you have to take the good with the bad.

First, GD dropped because people got tired of dealing with newbies and pointless threads. Especially when five people all post the "did you hear what they said" thread at the same time and there are multiple ONGOING threads about the exact same thing.

Unfortunately, EVERYBODY wants to be the one who starts the popular thread that gets 80 responses, so we get multiple threads. I'm not sure what can be done about it, but it's an issue.

In the end though, there is less call for people to comment on the show. There aren't as many show inspired pics anymore. People are just too busy. There aren't as many inside jokes, board members calling in, etc. going on.

GD will come back when the effort is put in to bring it back.
