Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 01	Ok, I know you guys are aware of the whole WCKG shit ass deal we have here in chicago, and yet again on friday I tuned in to hear the fuckin wolves game and not o&a and I was pissed off so i called them (312)-591-WCKG and I got this snotty little prick. "CKG?" (like its still a worthy station) I said yeah whens opie and anthony comin on? "after the game" i said THE GAMES OVER! and this prick says to me, "well now its the """post game show""" how long have you been listening to this station?" i said over 10 years, untill you went all talk all day with howard in the morning....(yawn)...buzz killman (are you serious?) in the afternoons and steve dahl (who i like but hes like 80 years old now and theres probably a total of 2hours of dead silence as he ponders his next words)....So then this guy says in his whining little fuck voice, "the wolves games have been on for 3 years!" (like i was supposed to have listened to it when any tv with bunny ear antenna's can see the game on tv) Im a die hard life long blackhawks fan and i couldnt care less if the wolves vanished into thin air. So anyway I told the fucker, well that SUCKS! and he went on to say "opie and anthony will be pre-empted (whatever that word is) 85 times this year" like to stick it in my face. so i said well that makes 85 times im not gonna be listening to your station and a few other choice phrases then i hung up, all pissed off because i had to get up for work and i had to stay up all late to hear the show. then i hear o&a bitchin about WCKG in chicago, and I cant fuckin call in because thier at home sleeping while im listening to delayed shit. I used to be a mancow fan, but ever since the big fat guy (Turd) left and since i heard my first o&a show about 5 or 6 months ago at the advice of a friend in NJ.....the o&a show pretty much made mancow obsolete. Ive never heard a funnyer radio show in my life! im gonna stop rambling now but i had to write in because i heard them say "were not gonna continue in chicago if they are gonna fuck us for minor league hockey" DUDES! PLEASE FIND ANOTHER STATION IN CHICAGO BEFORE LEAVING! Id Love to hear you guys in the day time and I even burn some of the clips from foundry 0nto cd and let friends listen to it. You guys will be LOVED in CHICAGO if your played during the hours while Chicagoan's arent snoring away in bed. MUCH LOVE IN CHICAGO GUYS! keep bashing WCKG, i love to hear them broadcast bashings of thier own station. wich is falling. same 3 commercials all night long. O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00	Heya Zig...I wouldnt worry too much about O&A leaving Chicago...they want to become successful in every major market in the country...They will eventually work it out with either that dipshit station or...they will go to another one in the Chicago area... Why? They want to and O&A always win :) Hang in there bro

Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01	Ziggy, everything will be ok. I think later on in that rant about CKG, one of the guys said it doesn't matter to them because other stations on Chicago are calling non-stop. They said if they don't get appreciated on CKG they will just move to another station in Chicago, where they can be broadcast in the day time, and in turn kick some major ass in the ratings. Hang in there. "What? I thought we were all just havin' fun."

O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00	For Chicago's sake, it would be good if they found a station to air the show live. But being WCKG is the definitive Infinity-owned FM talk station in Chicago, it kind of weighs over the possibilities a little bit. So I ask that one of three things happen: 1. Buzz and Wendy take whatever show they put on and move it to evenings. 2. Steve Dahl retires. 3. The Wolves minor-league hockey team folds. Granted, I've only heard of Steve Dahl because of the "Disco Demolition" at Comiskey Park in 1979, but I have no idea how huge he is up there. Supposedly much of a legend, if he isn't already confined to midday, or even weekend hours. Look at John Gambling, here in New York. His station - his family's station - of many years fired him from the morning show, why? Too old. Actually, they wanted to reach younger demographics. Another station picked Gambling up and now he does middays. Even Scott Muni was banished to middays before being fired from WNEW. I'm only going to say this once: If O&A have their way, and one way or another, they will, you'll be looking at Steve Dahl after Howard, followed by O&A. Hang in there. O&A Board Regular Registered: Jul. 00	I thought Steve Dahl announced like a year ago that he was retiring? That's the obvious move...set O&A up to take over afternoon drive when Steve Dahl dies. Check out Columns by Gay Marco, Ernio, and a New one from Dan from Hoboken on FoundryMusic.com

Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 01	I think Steve Dahl did retire, although during his airtime I think I hear him saying a word or 2. Im being serious by the way, theres more dead air than there is talking on his "shoulda been canceled years ago" show. I like steve dahl but I also like Harold Banes....did thier share of asskicking but OPEN YOUR FUCKEN EYES! It Aint happenin anymore! We need 0&A LIVE! I think wckg is going downhill because they play the same 4 commercials every break! and 2 of them are plugs for thier station. WCKG was classic rock for many many years, but then they went all talk and they have no good shows! exept o&a but thats recent and the show is from 9 to 1am.. Like many chicagoans I have to go to work every morning....at 6am....Ive been showing up with bags under my eyes every morning since i was told o&a was in chicago....Ive tried to sleep while listening....and i found that sleep is hard to come by when your laughin your ass off.
