 | Opie made a statement that he thought it had been a tough 3 or 4 months for the show...I think the show has been fine recently...what is he referring to, the syndication stuff?

| I think maybe Opie was talking about the latest ratings for NY and syndication, they've dropped to 7th overall in NY, still first in they're key demographics though and syndication has been a disaster, especially in Boston!!!

| O&A #'s in Noston are still better than what BCN had in afternoons prior to O&A, however they have slipped quite a bit from the first book O&A had> With 9/11 you can't really blame that on O&A, the full fall book may be a better refelction & the first trends of the winter book will better represent not only how O&A are doing in Boston & NYC, but the other markets as well

| I think he might have just been referring to September 11th itself. Not the ratings, not the fact that Norton is a detriment, not the fact that Stern muzzle has been put back on, etc. Just the fact that thousands of people died, the atmoshpere around NY was not one for wacky hijinks and low-brow radio.
In regards to the Boston ratings. Anything, literally ANYTHING is better than Nik Carter. Rockhole and Matty are better than Nik Carter. The Radio Chick and Don and Mike are better than Nik Carter, and I've never even heard them.
I'm sure that things will get even better for them in Boston, and if BCN bails, Infinity has other stations in Boston, and the show will remain up here and have a good battle with BCN and Nik Carter again
In fact, I kinda hope that happens.

| i personally could give less of a shit about their ratings, as long as theyre still in NY and Philly and i can hear them between 3-7 and they put on an interesting show, im fine...
