O&A would crap on their Mothers for a 14 on a regular basis like Don and Mike could pull in Washington DC. You might also like to know that if it weren't for Don and Mike...Ken Stevens wouldn't be where he is today without them....unfortunately Ken forgot who carried him all these years. Now he's going to pay the price and have to admit that he f'ed up by putting Don and Mike on the mid-day show and replacing them in the afternoon with talentless O&A....that's the way it is. By the way, I'm amazed how you tools can stereotype people the way you do...I call myself "bubba-t" and you jerks think you have me pegged -- sorry you loosers. Would you rather be a big fish in a small pond or a big fish in a big pond? Further, O&A are syndicated in Afternoons (the 2nd most important daypart) to NY (#1), Chicago (#3), Philly (#4), San Fran (#5), Boston (#6), Dallas (#7), Washington (#8). Whereas, Don and Mike are only syndicated in Middays (the 3rd Most Important Daypart) to NY, Washington, and San Fran in the top ten and a slew of AM stations that barely show up on the radar. The plain fact is that in 3 years, O&A beat D&M out of a job that they had spent 10 years trying to get (that is, Infinity's premier Afternoon Drive Talk Show). O&A won, D&M lost...Get over it. You can love them all you want, Bubba-t, but you're betting on the horse that already lost the race. | ||||

Let’s say there were two travel agencies, one called O&A World Travel and the other D&M Nationwide Travel. O&A World Travel offered the following destinations; New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Las Vegas, Chicago, Dallas, Buffalo, Seattle, San Francisco, New Orleans, Syracuse, Columbus. D&M Nationwide Travel offered these “exotic†destinations; New York, Washington DC, Roanoke, Tulsa, Green Bay, Wheeling, Reno, Sacramento, De Moines, Champaign/Urbana, Chillicothe, Hot Springs, Manhattan KS, Omaha. Now being the highly educated and sophisticated world traveler that I’m sure you are, it wouldn’t take long for you to notice, O&A travel takes you direct to all non-stop flight locations. In other words, no commuter flight connections that you would have to do if you chose to travel with D&M. And it’s not as if D&M Travel wouldn’t like to go to these bigger destinations, it’s just that these destinations don’t want D&M serving them. Take Philadelphia for example. They don’t want D&M serving them knowing that having the likes of that service in their city would drag it down so bad, that they pay D&M not to serve them. I hope this helps “clear the air “ for your warped view of reality. Oh and for the record, college graduate, six figure income, over the 13 to 34 age demographics. Most of my colleague’s listen to O&A and gag at the thought of listening to D&M. The disposable income of myself and most of my colleague’s is what the sponsors of these shows are after. From their earliest days in radio D&M have wanted to be number one with livestock and the people that have sex with them.
