They played the bit, they again said who it was from, and that should have been the end of it. Unfortunately, there are people, like yourself that are so ready to crucify O & A because you fear the success that they might enjoy, that you have to scream and shout about how the two of them are playing something that they did not produce. That isn't the point of the show. Absolutely, they are in this business for themselves, lets not be naivie, however, the business they wanted to do is to make the rest of us laugh and slip away from our dismal and tedious lives. If playing something that makes us giggle and chuckle makes us do that then they will play it. One, to get us to listen more to THEIR show, but also to let us have some enjoyment. These posts that idiots like yourself and Bubba put up never persuade us to do what you hope, which is to turn off the show. We understand what the show is about and apply our own judgement and rational to what the guys do to make a show interesting. When a bit sucks, all of us are the first to jump on them and tell them, when its funny we let 'em know so they keep going with it. Just like Opie said last week, 'we let our listeners write the show. We don't have to pay someone to do it.' Now I know this was a shot at big bird, but still the point is relevant. They feed off of what we, the listeners give them. So take your rhetoric and your crippled views of radio personalities and preach them on other sites.
