Consider this: If Stern wasn't such a a fukin' pussy about O&A ribbing him now and then, and if these rants reciprocated, then Infinity would be raking in that much more cash. But Stern scared them with his "I'll take my generating revenue machine to another station" if you don't have those two guys stop making fun of me, weh weh ! With this, Karmazin reacted rather than acted...The scale still tipped in YENTA's favor . IT will be a complete slap in the face if these commercials air during O&A's 4 hours. My guess is that they won't. Radio Chick=O&A enemy , O&A enemy=Stern's allie , hence the airing of Son Of A Beach ads during her slot... Jeder oder Keiner, Alles oder Nichts | ||||

My 2 cents: I hope they DO run the ad during O&A for the simple fact that they will fuck with it. If *Radio Edit* wants to spend money on this station on their show...so be it. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jul. 00 | First of all, this is nothing new. Back when the last season of Son of the Beach started, they played the ads during the O&A Show. It has nothing to do with O&A or even Stern. Son of the Beach is made by the Howard Stern Production Company who esentially sell it to F/X. F/X then takes care of all the advertising for the show. The show has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with CBS or Infinity Broadcasting. And, considering the demos WNEW targets, it's a logical place to advertise a show like Son of the Beach. I wouldn't even be suprised if the Media Planners that arranged the spots to air had no clue about the O&A/Stern debacle or a 'gag order'. Also, Air Personalities do not have any control over the ads or duration of ads on their shows. That's just the way it's done. So, don't be suprised to hear the ads during the O&A Show. Now, this is not to mean that you won't hear some "Dillons" in the background, but it's not some big conspiracy. | ||||
