| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 01  | The truth of the matter is they get lower ratings live than they do taped. They though at first it was because of their time slot, then they wanted to get O&A's time slot. When they didn't they bitched and whined to management. Next they renegotiated their contract and they wanted to be live in NY, again they wanted O&A time slot but they got the Radiochick's instead.They were also pissed that they were paid not to be on WYSP. Again, they bitched and whined to management. Now finally they want to move to a new time slot so they can get their ratings up. O&A said they are not moving, so instead management caved in and gave them Philly just to shut them up. The truth is O&A ratings in Washington DC are higher than Don and Mike's here. Hell, the radio chick's ratings were higher than don and Mike's. So now Op and Ant will be going at it alone once again. I'm loving it though. They haven't been pissed in about 6-7 months. | Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | Don and Mike have been at it for a long time, and just were able to get a following in Washington. Moving their time slot was pretty big part of their demise, because everyone knows that the two big shifts in the radio biz are morning drive and afternoon drive. They can be pissed as much as they want, but their time is coming near the end. Opie and Anthony are just plain better. I have no problem listening to Don and Mike, but I choose not to most of the time, because they really don't do cool shit. They either bitch about their wives or they talk about Leah Remini. Best shows on WNEW are O and A , and Ron and Fez. I just wish R and F got syndicated, they deserve it.  | ||||

I never recalled them mentioning who they broadcast to because they just sem to only recognize the fact that they are in NYC at WNEW. Guess I shoulda said I wish they were syndicated in Buffalo. :) | ||||
