| Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | In alot of instances O'Reily makes sense. But these shows that are just segments and clips cut and pasted together show his true lack or a backbone. If you want to have a show that expresses TRUTH it has to be real time. If you are a confident host, you can have your homework, i.e. clips, ready as evidence. Each time I watch these awful shows I'm thrown back to the Simpsons episode where Homer is accussed of grabbingthe baby sitters ass. The TV news magazine "cleverly" edited Homers comments to support their imbelishments. As for O&A tonight, they came across OK. But of course Bill doens't get the fact that the O&A demo isn't real big on the pre-teens. Talk radio, even funny talk radio, attracts a slightly older demo (12 year old gary aside). Worst of all was that the show didn't include Anthony's enlightening quote regarding Religion and how it is responsible for more deaths and killings than any product of entertainment.  | ||||

My favorite part so far of this hypocrite soap opera, was Bill telling Russel Simmons that "64% of black 4th graders can't read", and then a few minutes later with somebody else, he's telling him that "90% of rap music is anti-system and anti-authority", meanwhile the system he loves so dear has 64% illiterate children in their grammar schools and its NOT because of rap music. I love the way he made it seem that Linda McMahon's statement "we love doing what we're doing" seem to mean they love corrupting today's youth. I think Anthony's statements were dead-on. Why the fuck should entertainment be responsible for a bunch of ignorant, backward douchebags' kids? Fuck'em. Don't have kids if you're so worried. Do society a favor. It's called natural selection. The weak and the stupid do stupid things and they die. It might not be fair, but that's life. We should at least be allowed to laugh and be entertained. BTW this was the first time I got a good look at O&A. Anthony looks like he's part of a goddamn sleeper cell or something. They've infultrated our media, people. Look out! Shoe bombs got nothin compared to Anthony's microphone.  | ||||

If anyone else is interested in sending along an email, I'll include the address. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | I personally like O'Reilly. I guess because in a media world filled with Walters and Rathers, he is unique and tells the "other" side. I thought the "boys" did great and compared to everyone else portrayed in this Special, they seemed to come across as the ones with the least bit of negative influence on children. That's a plus for them. I don't think O'Rielly intentionally tried to make Opie & Anthony "look bad" but if he was trying, he didn't succeed. Besides, the "boys" just got big time publicity to a world wide audience, considering that The Factor that O'Rielly hosts on the Fox News Channel is the highest rated program, of it's kind, on cable. Good job, boys. :-D  | ||||
