| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00  | Been a wild and wooly week. I thought maybe I'd take another stab at what started this wildness. READ IT ALL BEFORE RESPONDING! 1) We are fans of O&A (the show if not the guys). We should not be bitching or moaning about any perceived changes. A real supporter is a supporter ALL the time, not just when things are going your way. 2) If a poster is maybe an intelligent, thought out statement (meaning not loaded with jokes and sarcasm), we should at least discuss this topic with the same sincerity. YOU would want to be treated with respect and you should treat others that way. We've all earned that much. 3) Yes, it is great that we can all speak out if we perceive "mod abuse". BUT, do not condemn ALL mods for one action and to take that a step further, do not permanently trash one mod who has had a long and loved history for one mis-step. If you honestly feel you've never posted anything that was asinine, well..... 4) "Boo-Hoo, they were better before syndication..." Suck it up, already! Do you think Opie or Anthony are going to read that, say "Oh my, we've changed!" and pull out of all the other markets? Things change, people grow up and adapt. Try it. 5) Attacking peoples personal lives, mods, fellow posters, Ant....NEVER cool. We are all in this together. I can honestly say that I respect any person who posts a serious thought here, regardless of how much I may disagree with the thought. No one wants us all to be Stepford posters, with long threads that just say "I agree", but let's turn down the burners with the flaming, okay? We are entering a new era according to Froy and we should bury some of our old habits. Shit-storms are created in my wake!! | ||||
