Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00	Lets see how many viable suggestions are made in this thread. -How about a limit on how long a status will stay with you. If it automatically is deleted after 6 months, we'll be able to avoid having outdated or "political" ones. If the tag is still applicable after 6 months, I'm sure their actions will just lead to a mod posting a similar one. -A limit on the amount of status one person has. In some extreme examples (like Alkey, for example) you have to scroll through 3 screens of status just to see a 1 or 2 line post. If there was a limit of say 7-10 status, we can condense some of that dead space (or at least combine some of them together). -Update the "quick HTML" or put something in the tech support section to show how to do more of the HTML functions (ie. scrolling type, changing point size of type) for the computer illiterate (ie. me). -Automatically Email the FAQ when a new member signs up, increasing the possibility that they'll actually read it. O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	New Smilies. SFN had this idea that I liked. Let a member pick their own avatar from a list like what is done with the smilies. It is a cartoon guy that appears under your name that a member chooses on thier own. Entertainment forum for Ikeaboy Everyones favorite an astrology forum Actually I don't really care about post count either. Without it, it puts everyone on an even keel. We don't need entire novels in statuses either. *I like the idea of updating statuses, considering mine is about a year and half old. When you can post a link, where you click on the red line...Stop people from putting in the little program (or whatever it is) that keeps opening up new browser windows on your computer....YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! When I first signed up, I made the mistake of clicking the link, and I was in for a ride. I finally figured out how to stop it, but it might really fuck up somebody that doesn't know what's happening! In my opinion, that is really fucked up to do something like that to someone, especially newbies, or someone that might not know what to do when that happens. That should be more of a reason to ban a member than anything else. We have to start treating each other better, or the board changes aren't going to make a shit of a difference! O&A Board Regular Registered: May. 00	I think the FAQ should be shown automatically before a members first post and its should be dumbed down to make is more readable. (I'm serious, many newbies feel overwhelmed by all of the info. Make the rules clear and easy for them to under stand.) You can still keep a comprehensive one for reference.
