I was sort of half listening at the time but I believe they were talking about the guy who produced the famous Bigfoot footage.

Leonard Nimoy is alive and well.

Nimoy was just in this week's episode/season/possibly series finale of Futurama. And it was a damned great episode.

It's more than OK to be a fan of the Star Trek series. I like it myself. "Trekkies" are the people who worry me. They're the ones that go to those conventions with their loser friends. They're the ones that make up a language based on characters from a tv show.
