You would think so.

The guy was dumb enough to confess to killing a couple of scum bags live on the radio and give out information (NYPD pistol permit) of who he is.

I don't think the cops will have much of a case due to the lack of evidence (no body, no crime) and the weapon was destroyed.

Any half assed lawyer should be able to get a walk on this. Claim his client is mental or some shit like that.

That was funny as hell. That chick was driving for close to an hour before the cops even got close. The city has cops every five feet. if they were going to do something they would have been there in a few minutes.
