Whether you think it was cruel or not (I didn't hear it, but from the clips, it was pretty fucked up) it's generated a ton of buzz from people. Opie was right. Patty served her purpose to the show, but she didn't know when to exit. How much was "exagerrated" for a bit for the radio (i.e. Ben saying she was acting like a star) is to be debated, but it WAS time to move on. You guys can bitch all you want how CRUEL they were to her. She's gotten at least several thousand dollars worth in cash and prizes from O&A. I think she'll be OK.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 02 | God damn, that was brutal. I didn't get to hear the end, when they escorted Patty outside. I though she cried inside before they kicked her out. When I heard that scream outside, I thought she was being mugged. THAT, my friends, was the most insane piece of cringe radio I have ever heard in my life. Opie is going to hell for that. First class, one way, no stops. And for all the tools who bashed Opie and not Anthony, lets not forget how far Anthony went with this. It wasn't like he quit 10 minutes into it while Opie was still going. They both went to the very end. Opie just went that little extra distance. Wow, great radio. Gotta hear the phone calls they get at 3:00. | ||||
