| O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | No Smex, they've been talking about how pissed off and dissapointed they are with WNEW for being a really crappy station with no effort being made at all to make it better. Their pissed about how the entire station is COASTING on THEIR success. And the offers that are crossing the negotiation table are NOT good enough to convince them to stay. These comments NOTHING to do with Stern or wanting to do mornings. But if you read the Penthouse article, you'd know about how they feel about mornings and Stern. I could way off that they have just gotten to the point where evrything that is going on is pissing them off including not being syndicated yet and having to yeild to Infinity's bread and butter. OR part of the game for leavrage in negotiations with the company. | ||||

But after Opie mentioned Boston maybe we have been going in the wrong direction. Could O&A been moving back to Boston to do radio? I would support their move to mornings but i would not be able to listen and the show would not be the same. They would have to rebuild their whole show from scratch. The carrot's been dangled in front of their faces for so long, it's now time for them to turn the tables and jerk WNEW around by the chain. They may leave WNEW for another flagship station for syndication, but they wont leave the market. Once you're tops in NYC, the only place to go is nationwide. It would be stupid to go back to Boston, or something else that would be a demotion from where they are now | ||||
