I think his point was that O&A fans and Walter and Johnson Fans have something in common: a contrived competition with Stern Fans. Thus then, we are allies. I was down in New Orleans in November and heard some of the Walter and Johnson Show. And, to be honest, while it was quite lame by O&A standards, it wasn't horrible. I could tell that they did a great job connecting to the fans of that market. The bottom line: O&A and W&J do not compete whatsoever, being in completely different markets. So, until O&A get syndicated, they are not a threat but possibly an ally in any sort of dumbass fan-internet war. So, if you all decide to get involved in a another battle with the SFN, let this guy know... O&A have pretty much given up fighting Stern(because they cant win with Infinity). They occasionally throw out an off hand remark or two, but the war is temporarily over. If they move to mornings, I'd expect the war to start again. Till then, we leave them alone and they leave us alone. | ||||
