| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | What is in store for O&A listeners this monday? Will we have to relive 3 years of "Worst of?" Or will we hear the trimphand return of- get this- The Newly SYNDICATED Opie and Anthony Show? Don and Mike (yeah you hate them, they're boring, they're geriatric Blah Blah Blah) stated on their friday show that not only will they not be taking O&A's spot, but WNEW will definately give O&A what they want. They also restated that what O&A said was true and it wasn't a stunt; Ken Stephens had been jerking them around up to the very last day I trust that Don and Mike, guys who have been through radio contracts and stuff like that know what they're talking about. But we know that O&A are not pulling a stunt on us, or at least they're more truthful than the radio chick and her "firing"  One day, all will bow to me, the prince of all saiya-jins! So, they haven't deleted stuff yet... Whether or not that gives us hope, I don't know, but they haven't deleted the files that were there... So, if you know the links to the stuff you're looking for, you will find it... For instance... http://www.wnew.com/opack/Bikini/Set1/Contestant1.html and change the contestant number accordingly, up until 27 (i.e. contestant2.html, contestant3.html and so on) So, the stuff is still there... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Because of a likely "No Competition Clause" WNEW snuck into their old contract, if they do not resign, we will probably have to go the entire summer without O&A. Hopefully, Ant will start posting more over the summer and keep us updated on the current situation. On a side note, i made Killjoyhk's sig. And although i am a huge Anime Fan (can you tell?), i hate DragonBall Z with the fires of hell. Too goddamn repetitive. "He's too stong, we cant win.....WAIT!!". But thats just me i suppose. I mentioned on Thursday that there are two possible outcomes. 1) They will be on Monday, at 3-7, and will start being syndicated (I'd guess that the PD thing is really negotiable...) 2) Don & Mike will be live 3-7 Monday, in which case WE WILL NOT HEAR THE BOYS on the RADIO in NYC until September 3rd. And if this is the case, I'd bet it'll be 9/3/01 at 06:00 AM on a ClearChannel Station. If O&A do NOT sign, I (educated guess) believe that WNEW will NO LONGER have the rights to broadcast ANY O&A material. That's the way the cookie crumbles. (As Mel isn't too intelligent, That'd be MY bet.) but I will say he's loyal, to a fault to the wrong star!) (and We'll hear you, in September....) Mel-No's. Really. Actually Mel Doesn't Know squat. I have never seen a show that uses the same formula so many times except with different characers. And what about the filler? To use time, they have EVERY character talk about what they are going to do for like 5 minutes each. How about this: Any Z character vs. any Z character: Char 1: I'm coming at you! Watch out! Prepare to meet your fate! I'm almost there! Get ready! I'm running now! I'm real mad! Hey there, you're going to get hit by me! Where is Kakarot/Goku? Char 2: Oh no, he's coming! He's gonna attack me! How hard is he going to hit me? He's going to smack me one! Oh no, he took a step closer! He looks mad! I think he might just do it! Where is Kakarot/Goku?
