| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00  | As everyone here has noticed, we have been assaulted with speculation threads since O&A went off the air. Also, there has been alot of newbie bashing because of this. There is a simple reason for this. Everyone knows that OA.com is mentioned at least once per day on the show. Now that they have gone of the air, alot of bewildered fans are looking for info about our favorite Radio show hosts. If you notice, there has been alot of registrations lately, because most assume since we are mentioned so much on the show, we would have the latest info. You will also notice that 90% of said threads are started by newbies. This is a passing phase. Are the threads annoying? Of Course. Will they stop, even though Faceman started a "Official Speculation" thread? Probably not. These newbies are not looking to become active posters like us, they simply want some peice of mind. So we must all make a concentrated effort to help these people. Referring to the "Adopt a Newbie" thread will not help, because they will most likely not be here once the issue is resolved. Now to any newbies reading this. We are always open to new members, but please use your heads. If you want to post a speculation at this point, PLEASE post it in the Official thread. Trust me, you will not get flamed as much as you will if you started your own thread. Better yet, just wait and see. We are all avid fans of O&A here, and if anything noteworthy were to happen, rest assured that Froy, or Roger, or Anthony himself will keep us informed. If you want to pursue a long posting career, go to the "Adopt a Newbie 3" thread. It is a program where the Veterans of the board will show you the ways of the board, making posting here much more enjoyable and easier. Again, to the Vets, patience is a much needed virtue now. I think we all know that if O&A are syndicated, we will get thousands of new posters. Consider this a test run of what will happen in the future. Your character will be tested very soon with a possible syndication, so develop the necessary skills now. It would be a shame to lose Veterans because they are fed up with newbie posting. This is gonna get alot worse before it gets any better, so prepare for the worst, but hope for the best.
