While I agree that there will be many of those nasty calls and emails, I don't think the "purge" will take as long as some expect. I think Cousin Ed will be staying on at WYSP, just moving slots. He is kinda like a Pendarvis type, exceot he's actually pretty funny...lol.  Still one spot open! I am pleased to announce that DevonGetTheTable is the newest addition to the Slackjaw family! Report any transgressions to me. | ||||

I emailed him yesterday and he didn't say he was leaving, but he didn't actually say he was staying either. I'm from Philly and have been listening to O&A via SU for about a year now and I am glad they are finally on a radio station I can get. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Actually, I don't think the purge will be that bad at all. 102.7 was a classic rock station where people had grown up listening to it for all there lives. The difference is YSP is a more "Popular Rock" station where they play more music of today. The majority that listens to YSP are kids who can deal with change alot better than the old foggie listeners of WNEW. It may be bad, but not half as bad as the New York purge was. Philadelphia, the only place where brotherly love is legal. | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Oct. 00 | I know I just posted this in another thread 5 minutes ago, but I think it's fitting: Doesn't anyone here realize that to 99% of Philadelphia, Opie and Anthony are completely new? So why are we all expecting that almost immediately we'll be flooded with new members who will somehow have the same long term love of the Opie and Anthony show? The exact same thing happened when they were in Boston for one day (granted it was on a Saturday), everyone here and foundry strapped down and prepared for 4,000,000 new newbies or whatever. How many new ones posted? 1. Sure there will be tons of new members, but why don't we wait until these people at least get their feet wet with O and A.  See My Sig Pics!
