| Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 00  | I was down at the Jersey shore this weekend and saw the Nerd's (a band) play. Tey mentioned that they will be performing at the Opie and Anthony road show in two weeks. Has anyone heard about it and where it will be? I graduted Rone's school 5/20/01 | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | If its true, that's gonna be cool - I've seen the Nerds play several times (even wanted them to play at my wedding, but they're crazy expensive), and if anyone here has the chance to see them, I highly recommend them. Would be nice if I could actually make this one (assuming it happens). | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | O&A haven't hit the Jersey shore in a looooong time. Another pretty good band is The Benjamins; mostly a cover band-they play cool stuff like Godsmack as well as hard covers of 80's stuff. I've seen them a couple of times. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | JerseyTerp, I saw FBS quite a few times at the Quarterdeck and other joints on LBI and during their few jaunts to the Bergen County area. I know they have changed a lot in the last year - a few new guys, some different tunes, etc. - and though I haven't seen them yet, my friend who often catches them at Jimmy's says they suck compared to a few years ago. But The Nerds continue to kick ass. Anyone remember The Headspins? "Have you talked to your doctor about Stacker 2?" | ||||

The band that got hosed by that skank Eve and ended up second in that MTV Ultimate Cover Band Contest, MY GAY UNCLE, they do some funny covers that are out on Napster. | Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Yeah, just popped into a shore bar couple of weeks ago without knowing the Benjamins would be there, they did a KICK ASS version of a couple Godsmack tunes. Saw them about a year and a half ago at Jakes in north Jersey and either they talked about O&A or some shit, I was a bit enebriated. | ||||

They have never been the same since Jude left the band. They actually played at my house once for a christmas party which was pretty cool. And as for The Nerds they rock! A great party band to go see. They are always playing down the shore here..If anyone has not seen them yet check them out you won't be sorry. Welcome to my demented world. | ||||
