| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | TonySoprano: If I had to guess, I would assume that our dear friend Fez here is attempting the Fight-Fire-With-Fire Tequnique. You know how sometimes firefighters who fight those massive forest fires out West will light what are known as "backfires"? It's where you light a controlled fire to use up all the flammable tinder and underbrush on the forest floor, so when the big fire gets there, it will have no fuel and will be easier to fight. Well, Fez seems to think that each thread has a "stupidity quota" that it can not go over. So if he posts something stupid and innane (like...you guessed it, ice cream) it will use up all the available stupidity in a thread and make it easier for all of us to enjoy stupidity-free perusing of the board. Little does he know that there is in fact no limit to the amount of idiocy in any one place, so all of his efforts are in vain.
