According to the information published by the "Legitimate" press, O&A are expected to be syndicated in 9 out of the 10 top markets , excluding Houston. 1 New York, NY 14,487,900 2 Los Angeles, CA 10,489,800 3 Chicago, IL 7,191,300 4 San Francisco, CA 5,821,700 5 Philadelphia, PA 4,081,300 6 Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX 4,005,300 7 Detroit, MI 3,836,600 8 Boston, MA 3,741,200 9 Washington, DC 3,728,800 10 Houston-Galveston, TX 3,676,600 Do the math. By covering these markets, it's puts them at 25% national coverage. This means that 25% of the US adult population are potentially exposed to the debauchery known as Opie and Anthony. WOW! Not bad for a couple of boys from Long Island. By covering the top 20 markets eventually, that puts them at 40% national coverage. When they hit 60%, national sponsors like Ford, Chevy, Proctor & Gamble, Kraft, etc.... start to pay attention. Can you imagine 60% of the country going "OKAY, TERRIFIC" or even better, 60% of the countries female population WOWing on highways and roads. Remember, the most popular format of music in this grand old country of ours is country, so it is doubtful O&A will win over The Grand Ole Opry crowds or the Bible Belt. ASSuming they appear on a high-rated station in 9 of the top 10 markets does not mean they will get 100% of the listeners. We only need some women to WOW, others to host road shows and a good suplly of body bags...er, WOW stickers. Relax and stop speculating. It will happen, and we will all know we were there when it all began. The Boston market gets it kudos, but like the Babe, the boys made it big time in the Big Apple.
