Someone has to go in order for a new show to move in. I remember hearing the PD or GM from an Infinity owned Boston station that has Howard on in the morning, some guy named Oedipus, say that he didn't want O&A because what he has now works. ( assuming that is where they are going in D.C) Don and Mike tape delay in NY and O&A delay in D.C?. Cmon that kinda blowzzz wtf. Personally I think D&M should move up to evenings so they can be live in NY and live and D.C. Personally, I'm VERY excited about Boston. I don't think I'll be able to last through four years of college in Cambridge without them.:)

| Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 00 | There's a deadline in O&A's contract that says they must be on in the 22 markets within 90 days, so by the end of August Boston, DC, and everywhere else will have them. As far as DC goes, they'll probably end-up doing overnights on JFK or something like that, because JFK doesn't want them live against D&M. | Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | Everyone knows the Boston problem regarding WBCN. Boston has only WZLX, a classic rock station, that they could put the boys on if not WBCN. I'd like to see Infinity step it up and try to sell the show to WAAF/Entercom and have it go against WBCN int he Boston market. That way, if Infinity is afraid that adding them will force some people to WAAF, they could look at it from the opposite direction: the O&A haters would be forced to WBCN. Make it a 2-3 year contract and if WAAF with O&A ratings take off, Infinity could make the switch to WBCN with a proven commodity. Also, since Infinity has no Hartford rock, they could sell the show to rival Clear Channel and WWRQ 104.1. It also happens to be the same frequency as WAAF and the markets just about meet. O&A loud and clear from Boston to Philadelphia. Yeah, yeah, I know. Not a chance. It would require too much ingenuity for Infinity to do anything right...other than giving the boys some good dough.  | ||||
