I wish he liked the Lakers Other Opie curses: --Starts rooting for Sixers, get swept in the Finals since then. --Mets cancer goes from dissappointment in World series to cancer. --Knicks get trounced in the first round, and don't have a draft pick in one of the deepest drafts in years. --He still roots for the Islanders. Philadelphia, the only place where brotherly love is legal. | ||||

Someone told him to root for the Ravens, but deep down he wanted the Giants to win and thats why they lost (well, that and because they couldn't score any points.) It starts out like AIDS. It starts with little things, and then snowballs into death. Instead of the Islanders sucking one year, and getting close to the playoffs the next, they suck all the time. Then the Mets lose the world series, but it's not that bad because it's great they made it. Then the Giants get the crap kicked out of them in the Super Bowl, which sucks pretty badly, but there's some silver lining in the fact that they made it. Then the Sixers totally tank from the minute they get syndicated in Philly, which is almost rock bottom. Then the Mets suck in the basement while they watch the Marlins challenge for first place. What an embarrasment. Can you wear a Lakers jersey? Opie is the only man who can stop the dynasty. Philadelphia, the only place where brotherly love is legal. | ||||
