O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | You may recall last week when Opie was asked by one of the Boston "Manatee" gossip columnists to give a statement, he said he can't wait to crush the competition in Boston, and punctuated the call by promising they'd be on Jay Leno "in the very near future"... A minute later, Rick confirmed someone from Leno did inquire about them. How does this sound for an O&A appearance on Leno: New Year's Eve, live, O&A broadcast live from Times Square (perhaps the WWF restaurant) and a few times during the show, Jay would check in with O&A for live reports as the ball prepares to drop. They can even plan a "surprise" for when the clock strikes 12. Yeah, a regular in-studio appearance would be cool, as well... but why not give 'em the works. ...j$

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | O&A aren't going to get on Leno until they are more nationally recognized (IMO). Letterman might be a better deal, especially since he is locally based, but again I would think they would need to be more natioanlly recognizeable. The XFL show wasn't on long enough to give them the exposure they need - they'll get there, all in good time.... Classes for Enhancing your Board Experience and Stamina are now in Session! O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | Good point to ponder... why NBC would want them back so soon after the XFL thing... Also, I don't believe there is a station yet that airs O&A in L.A. thanks to Tubby Tom on KLSX, although KROQ could be an option, but I think they're owned by Clear Channel, forgive me if I'm wrong...

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I knew Leno wanted them on his show months ago when every single day for like 2 months he referenced the WOWing on the Today show C'mon now, if Leno had wanted them on the show, they'd have been on the show. We're getting a little ahead of ourselves here. A much better fit would be Conan, or even Letterman (who broke Stern, who was much less famous at that point than O&A are now, on his old NBC show, not to mention the whole CBS/Infinity affiliation). If any of you care to become pro-acive, you can contact them @ http://cbs.com/latenight/lateshow/clubhouse/email_us/ They also do a weekly Top Ten contest that's kinda fun, and you can use a show related name when entering your submission http://cbs.com/latenight/lateshow/topten/contest.shtml

O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | quote:Well he and his producers might be smart enough to realize that he's in LA, they're in NY and they were only heard in NY. And Letterman didn't so much break Stern as much as he wanted other guests on his night back and Stern's insecurity rised like magma out of a spewing volcano .
