Is it to "spread the word"? Well, how does that work? Isn't that what this whole message board does in the first place? What makes this thread so special in that department? Yes, I know...I'm lazy. | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | DIG in short, this board has absolutely no fucking purpose anymore, since O&A are syndicated to most places that have electricity (I think most of Canada is without electricity still) Before there was syndication a lot of people who wanted syndication did the SU to get the word out, blah blah blah. But now everyone can hear it, and it serves no purpose. Callow people are still hanging onto the past where they were needed and important. Yet now, they are useless and everyone makes fun of their uselessness. Becuase of that, people like Barch become very bitter and while they used to rule the SU forum with an iron fist and contributed greatly to the board, now they have to permeate throughout the rest of the board for action since no one has the need or interest to come to this forum. Like a tech entrepreneur, they were once highly respected, and now people just feel sorry for them and wish they would just disappear. Hope that clears things up.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | Well, hust a thought on THAT. O&A are heard many places in this fine country, this is true. However, not all people can hear them during their scheduled times, hence the SU still serves a purpose. And, I think most the SU people would be very happy if everyone could hear O&A whenever they wished but, alas, that's not likely to occur. Another thought: If the SU is so redundant and so obsolete, why are there still so many "Can I get a feed?" threads from the newbies? Of course, Dice, one thing to remember is that the SU forum allows people from other boards, who were NEVER important or respected, an opportunity to come in, make a kamikaze piss-ant cheap shot, then run back to their normal haunts so they can be surrounded by their equally mongoloid little posse's when we shoot back (Obviously, this is not directed at you.....yet). You were completely unprovoked in almost every instance. Yet, you found it neccessary to be a fucking prick. I understand the "new fish" prison strategy.
