| Hanger-On Registered: Nov. 01  | has anyone else noticed sinced syndication the show has been getting worse and worse . besides yesterdays show which absolutely sucked they rarely do any funny bits and all they do is talk about there god damn contests and cities there in . personally i think they were 10 times more gooder before syndication , but thats just my opinion . DON AND MIKE SUCK time for action | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01 | It's a two way street, some things have improved other deteriorated. Everyone has their opinion on the post-syndication status of the show. On one hand there is much less interactivity between the show and the listeners that there used to be. But there have been more high-profile guests to screw around with lately. There are good shows and there are bad shows, every day can't be a classic.  I believe in the Faith... that can save me. I believe in the hope and I pray... When management was keeping them down, they had syndication to pine for, etc. they had a sort of spirit in them that seems lost these days. Even though we bash stern now , he was great in his prime. and when O&A got syndicated i thought they would do the same thing stern did, get stupid ass guest after guest that noone wants to hear. Stern just got weak with success. Now all O&A do is talk about contests and other cities, get back to your roots FAGEETS!! Tom Brokaw is funny though even if it did come after syndication. Norton saves that show. More rape humor please!! | ||||

Tara (aka - The Hottest Girl to take her clothes off on the O & A show), all have disappeared never to return. They were teh staples! Breuer isn't on that much anymore, neither is Jay! They had a formula for success, and they are straying. But they are still funnier than any other show in New York. Where's Spike??? | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 01 | I must admit I have been a Stern fan for almost 19 years and up until about 2 years ago when I got turned on to O&A by a friend of mine I thought Stern was the best possible radio show and then I realized that was not always the case O&A were what stern used to be when He was hungry and innovative and would do what ever it takes to be the best. Now since O&A have gotten a true taste of fame and fortune (5,000,000 a year each) they are rapidly becoming what stern has become and that is just sad. O&A no longer seem to even care if the show is good and they whine like Stern does about how everyone wants to keep them down, when you make that much money a year and bitch and moan as much as they now do it is just plain poor. I hate to say it but with the current state of the show if they went up against Howard they would get theirs heads handed to them, as bad as Howard has become they are worse, they now whine and complain 10 times as much as Howard does about how management is against them even though they just forked over and amazing amount of money to them. I wish the company I worked for was so against me that they would give me that kind of money, I currently make my company 33 million dollars a year and I do not earn 1/10 of what those whining assholes make. I will give them credit they are the best in their respective time slot but come on guys go back to they way the show was before syndication. | ||||

I think that at first O&A Syndication was a little awkward, but so was Stern's at first...remember? There is one very big difference. O&A understand their fans. Who cares how much money they make? They are real. What you call whining is Opie keeping it real, losing his shit. Don't you do the same sometimes? What radio show is as close to their audience as O&A? I don't mean driving around in an RV giving out money or wicked fun bowling with some fans. O&A have road shows, go out drinking with fans. They are like Stern used to be. They do and say what everybody wishes they could say. Going down hill? I haven't seen it. Bring back Spaz, though. That would rock. | ||||
