Second, they haven't been asked to do the show because they JUST GOT SYNDICATED. Are people realy under the impression that Howard was number 1 the second he hit every market? If I remember correctly, it took Howard much longer than the six months it took O&A to take all the male demos in philly. Jesus Christ. This is like saying a band that just released there first album isn't as big as Zepplin. OF COURSE THEY ARN'T. They haven't had the time. He's Jackie Robinson, they're every other black man that followed....they may accomplish something someday but they will never be the original | ||||

Which late night Saturday show? The channel 9 show? Or the one that aired at 3 AM on 10 affiliates and basically did the E! concept?? Or do you mean the NEW show, his production company is doing?? How did O&A's show do....oh yeah, I forgot. They don't have one. And you miss the point about Jackie Robinson....Howard is NOT Marconi, he just opened a new Era.....Or do you REALLY believe O&A NEVER listened to Howard's show and just came up with their radio personalities on their own??? | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | Channel 9 and E! are cable channel's. I am talking about the Major's in TV. The stupid show he had on that got CANCELED? Why should anyone give O&A a show at this time. They are just getting syndicated. I never said I didn't like Stern and you being a fan should know how his career went. He didn't get things thrown at him. He went out and got them. How many stations did Howard get fired from? How many syndicates didn't work for him? He got threw it and fought to be #1 in the morning's. He is just being a dick because he thinks other people talking on the radio and doing bits are ripping him off. Anthony was on Howard's show and has even said he was a fan at one time. Then he saw what a dick he has become and now thinks differently. I listen to Howard and watch his E! show from time to time and think he if funny. I do not think he should put a gag order on other shows not to talk about him. I also don't think everything he does is funny or great but I feel the same about O&A. Their radio show is very different then Howard's. O&A just want to be able to talk about him or any other radio host and not get dumped doing it. We come to this board because we like O&A. If we wanted to take about Howard we would go to Howard's board. I am sure If we went there and posted a bunch of shit about O&A their we would get deleted if Howard is in charge. | Hanger-On Registered: Aug. 01 | If recycling a Stern bit from 1986 or 1990 is a talent, O&A are a couple of the most talented guys in radio. Its real easy to be successful when someone SHOWS YOU HOW TO DO IT. I'd love to hear these scary talents when they were perfecting their trade....then again, I simply question why they can't PROVE they have a superior product and go head to head. It's real easy to SAY you have a better product when you DON'T COMPETE. And BTW, what's their beef with Imus other than Howard picking on him?? | ||||
