They had this guy on who talks about when TV shows go bad. A caller comes on and says that the Stern show is boring now and it went bad when Billy West left, and it is even worse now that Jackie is gone. He kept calling it the "morning zoo with the morning jew" Stern tried to fight back but he was stunned. It was like the air was sucked out of the studio. Instead of taking the guy on he said that if he would be glad to leave, and whenever people stop listening he will know it is time to go.

Hey Anthony, would you like to make a deal on some Furbys for your girlfriends.

I am suprised that he did not fight back harder, but Stern could be tired of all the harassment that he gets...

This guy was so right. I have listening to Stern since 1983 and "it's over Johnny".

Move over and let O+A take over!

Its sad. Lets face it, a high percentage of us listened to Stern before O&A were in NY. And in his glory days he would of ripped that caller a new A-Hole, but now he is miles away from those days.

Now that hurt.
Now you know it's time to go when you can't fight back, Stern.

I stopped listening to Stern regularly about 4 years ago. Not because I didn't like him, but because his show wasn't funny enough for me to go out of my way to listen too anymore. I didn't dislike him, I actually admired the empire he built by scratching and clawing. However for about 18 months or so its been a different story. He's become a crybaby, running to management for everything. These aren't the actions of the Gutsy cowboy we knew in the late 80's. I'd say he is a shell of his former self, but that would be a compliment. OFF WITH HIS HEAD
