Ask why every interview they have ever done has a reference to Howard Stern..... Ask why, if they are so friggin good, they don't SHOW IT ON THE AIR. If they had half the show Howard does infinity would not have re-signed their BIGGEST CASH COW...they would have put the bette show on, right? If HS couldn't pull in the numbers, we wouldn't be having this discussion right now because O&A would be on my radio THIS MORNING. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | i listen to O&A regularly and i never really liked Stern to begin with, but some of you guys get into it way too much. anyway, to respond to some of kobe's comments: theres a mention of howard in every interview because every stupid hack reporter that comes along ALWAYS has to bring up the whole gag order bullshit and ask idiotic questions like, "you know alot of your critics say you rip-off Stern what do you have to say about that?, blah blah blah, im a stupid fuckin twat." and dude they didnt take the clear channel offer because the deal simply wasnt good enough, in the clutch Infinity came through, so if youre getting out to more cities and making more money even though youre still on afternoon drive, who cares if youre not going toe-to-toe with Stern? besides when the whole Stern subject is brought up they spend next to no time talking about it and state how they could care less, which lately seems like the truth. they dont harp on it like some people on here do, but i dont blame the people on here cuz theyre just defending their boys, as i do if people bash them for no reason or have their shit wrong (not fanatically, but i get my point across). as for them being gone in DC within a year, huh, let me reiterate, "O&A always win in the end", remember that cuz it always holds true..... | ||||

I'm sure Clear Channel offered Morning Drive in NY, DC....places O&A COULD ACTUALLY PROVE THEY ARE BETTER THAN STERN. If they had balls and talent they would be on my radio in the AM AGAINST STERN. IF they were funnier and more talented they could prove it by knocking off the guy people say they steal from...show EVERYONE how innovative and original they are....they'd take a core audience that thinks they are better than Stern. And are these the same "Stupid Hack Reporters" that O&A crow about...like Rolling Stone. Or say that Stern is losing ratings because he's not #1 by as big a margin any more? And if O&A always win in the end...how come they never beat Howard head to head? Or in 4years will they say they win when Stern leaves? You say I don't understand business, yet infinity has its, in your opinion, best show on....in the AFTERNOON....on its WORST STATION IN NY, while only JUST NOW moving into markets where STERN has been for up to 10 YEARS. The newer, hipper label has been put on every johnnie come lately....Mark and Brian, Mancow, Ron and Fez...now Dopie and his butt buddy...and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM HAS LOST TO STERN IN THE RATINGS. None of them have produced ANYTHING of value in markets or stations where Stern is heard and they have to compete. I don't need to argue with any of you about anything..I have facts on my side....therefore I WIN. When your pussy boys get approached to produce TV shows, write books, do movies....maybe I'll take notice....until then, you're just supporting the endless number of guys who are just pretenders to the throne. The doors the kick in are the ones Howard opened years ago....... HE had a period LAST YEAR when he dipped to SECOND for ONE RATINGS period. and WHY would an man who basically BUILT Infinity Radio into what it is want his company to put anyone against him.....do you want your company to put another guy in the Ditch or Drive in Window with you...to compete for YOUR JOB? Name ONE Radio personality that preceded Stern that has done what he's done for as long has he's done it.......now look at the clone shows that were shown how to be successful. There was NOBODY on the Radio, at least in DC doing what he did 20 years ago....evidently, there was nobody in NY either....now every single show is the in your face radio....O&A's idea of great Radio is a TIGER IN STUDIO or a HOOTER'S PARTY OFF THE AIR.
