| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | this is a big FUCK YOU to the govt and dept of ed in particular, for not granting me a single cent of financial aid. they claim that my parents' gross income is too much to give me any money. if my parents had enough money, i would go to the fucking govt for help, bastards. i have a gpa of 3.33, but they couldn't give two shits about that, only that my parents work, and that i'm white. i was in the financial aid office of FDU (teaneck campus) and not a single other person in there spoke a word of english, and they were all able to get govt assistance cuz there parents probably don't work. i think that if you or your parents are already recieving federal aid (ie: welfare) then you shouldn't be able o get financial aid from the govt. there are such greedy bastards in this country, that most of which, i'm willing to bet, aren't even here legally. FUCK THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, the govt is corrupt. for the first time in my life, i'm embarassed to be a us citizen. METS IN 2002!! thanks FN MORON...you know why | ||||

I did, and I'm much happier today for it. If you can't get grants or aid, take out loans. Sure you'll be paying them off forever, but it's better than working like a hump for the rest of your life with no degree.

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I hear you on that one CT...my parent's combined income is too high as well, but they support my brother, my grandmother and myself...but the govt. doesn't take that into consideration. Its insane that my GPA is about a 3.6 or so and there is no incentive from the govt. for me to continue to persue a higher education. As much as I understand there are people in need, I should not be punished because both of my parents have Masters Degrees and don't sit home and collect welfare. why do I say I'm fine when it's obvious I'm not? why's it so hard to tell you what I want? why can't you just read my mind? | ||||
