| Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01  | Went to the yankee game against boston tonight hoping to see Clemens win his 20th game. History in the making. Then the rain poured and poured til about 8:30. The grounds crew fixed the field and was ready to play. They then cancelled it around 9 o'clock. They could of played the field was fine, FU TO WHOEVER CHOSE TO CANCEL THE GAME. I HOPE YOUR MOTHER GETS AIDS... "In the end Opie and Anthony always win!!" | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Apr. 01 | lets see. it is primarily a meaningless game. a wet field makes players more prone to injury. the yanks are prepping for the playoffs. who do you think cancelled the game and can you blame them? plus george is giving all ticket holders tickets for not one but two games to make up for it. | Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | The umpires make the call on that. I was there, too- that field looked mighty flooded to me, even after the "water hog" went over it... With no open dates left, the umps wouldn't have cancelled if they thought there was the slightest chance it was ok. Help those that need it. Join IBC.
