What the fuck does a woman getting Anthrax have to do with the price of Microsoft stock? Dumb panicy motherfuckers.

And FU to the fucking "economic analysts" who couldn't analyze their way through an open door. "Oh no, we don't know how much this war is going to cost and how it will affect the economy. Oooh, we're scared." Dumb fucks. All the weapons are already PAID for. All the REPLACEMENTS are already paid for.

There's a reason you numb nuts can't get jobs on Wall Street. You suck! Your "analysis" are worthless guesses you pull out of your ass. That's why you were all fired and replaced with mathematicians years ago!! Fucking talking heads.

Fu to the panicky investors who listen to this crap.

::And my stocks are STILL valued higher than I paid for them.::

In Nevada, Gov. Kenny Guinn announced Saturday
that a suspicious letter mailed to a Microsoft
subsidiary in Reno, Nevada, tested positive for
anthrax in a third test. Guinn said six people who
had contact with the letter are being tested.
Samples of the anthrax have been sent to the CDC
to determine how dangerous the strains are.

I could disagree and provide evidence with most of your argument, but I'll just state this one thing. It's not individual investors, with portfolios, that are pulling out of the market. It's mutual fund companies that are trying to save their customers that are causing the downturn. But can you blame them? The earnings are going to tell the story, and part of the story has already been told. I, with my own portfolio, haven't made a selling order yet. In fact, I bought shares of Halliburton when I saw a good buying opportunity. It's not people, it's companies.

"That's what we're paid for, boys. We're gonna take care of this. We're going to find out who did this. They're not going to like me as President."

Business cycles - how they blow.

One week you're buying a car for 0% financing, the next week you're getting a 10% pay cut, or layoff, or whatever.

One more reason to hope that when they catch bin Laden, they hold a pay per view wherein his testicles are sliced off with a rusty, dull razor and fed to him.

That of course, after several hours of ritualistic torture.

Yes, it's time to get medieval on his ass!

Thank you to all the brave volunteers who brought us all together as a country,

FMS, I bought stock for the first time ever AFTER 9/11 because all the prices were in the basement WAY below their real value. They went up a bit, but have now all stalled completely. They made a nice run on Monaday and Tuesday, but news of Anthrax in Pataki's office and the closing of Capital Hill killed two days of gain in one hour!
Oh well, now it's a long term investment instead of a quick gain.
