| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | so, out of nowhere i get an email saying they've canceled my insurance for not paying... you're supposed to take my payment automatically you dumb fucks why haven't you??? and if you tried and something didn't work, why didn't you tell me before you go cancelling my fucking policy. assholes. i know in the grand scheme of things this is minor, but why does stupid shit like this always happen to me? i'm tired of nothing going right so please forgive me if i bitch and moan for a moment. ok, i'm done. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Insurance - what a great racket. You pay a fortune, but you're not allowed to make any claims, or your dropped like a stone. Auto insurance? I thought there were state laws that they had to send multiple letters before dropping you? I had an incident with life insurance co once. They received my check 3 days late, and cancelled my policy and returned my check. Since I got the policy through the broker we use for business insurance, I had to get him involved. Eventually the re-instated the policy, but they made me take another blood test.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | well, i wasn't gonna bring this to the top for an update, but since it's here. turns out they managed to lose all record of my payment information so, when they tried billing my credit card TWO WEEKS AGO it didn't go through. if only they'd tried to tell me then... however, i spent some quality time on hold today and got it straightened out, i hope. but insurance companies still suck.
