| Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01  | This goes out to Jason's Furniture, where everyone shouldn't go. On 12/16/01 I went in and bought a sofa & love seat, bed, lamps, and 3 tables for my new apartment. I had a delivery date sent for 01/03/02 and an $100 deposit down. I want to pay the whole thing, but the sales guy said not to.( there is my first mistake). One has to pay in full before delivery is able to be done. So i go in and pay for it all. The next day I'm told that My sofa/loveseat was given to someone else, because they payed for it first and scheduled a Delivery date before mine!! Why the hell I'm I leaving a deposit if your going to give my furniture to someone else??? As of today and 3 delievery dates later, I still do not have my Sofa/loveseat. FU. If i have to drag this out in Small Claims I will.  | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jul. 00 | I feel your pain Snoteater. And, it ain't just Jason's. I have yet to find a furniture store that does not encourage it's sales staff to aggessively F the S out of the A of every customer at every opertunity. Admittedly, I have no idea how the inner working of the retail furniture industry are actually constructed but, it sure don't take much to become a furniture salesperson. It seems that all they need to get paid (sales commission I assume) is to get your signature and from that point forward... You're just effed. I have made it my own personal policy to NOT order anything. If ain't there for me to take home NOW, I ain't buying it. I'm always amazed at how they will fight me on this. The thing is right there. I've got the money right here. Let me pay for it and take it. No... you gotta order another one. We need that one to sell more. Well, why the F don't you order another one for your store? Because you know damn well that even though you promise me I'll have it in two weeks that it's gonna be at least six effin months before that S shows up and, it's going to be the wrong color or, scratched or, completely the wrong effin thing. Sorry, you just hit a sore spot with me on this one.... but I deffinately second your FU and further expand it to every effin furniture store that I have ever dealt with. Note: To all the board memebers that work in furniture sales and are honest upstanding salespeople... I have obviously not dealt with you but, FU anyway... you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. | Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Snoteater, We too got our furniture at Jason's, and it took Flock screaming at them and threatening them, in order for them to get us our livingroom furniture. We got finally got it, but it was a fight. Good luck to you man. Persist, and if you need to, get loud... they seemed to respond more quickly to that.

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I dealt with Jason's Furniture, in Copaigue. I bought something on Credit Card, It was damaged. I returned it, the fuck never gave me mty credit.
