| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jan. 01  | Why when you try to help your younger sister she gets pissed off at you and tells you to go to hell. Well my sister is a nasty little bitch who at the age of 15. (i'll kill you guys for even thinking about it) At the age of 15 she hangs out with degenerates that get drunk every weekend (not that I dont drink) but at her age there is no reason for her to get drunk and pass out to the point she doesnt remember anything that happened. Anyway her boyfriend broke up with her because he is an asshole and gave her no reason. So being the older brother that I am I found out his AOL s/n and asked him what happened. He thought he was a big tough guy on-line. I happened to see him yesterday in the real world, not on-line, I asked him what happened he had no answer for me and ran after I told him if he hurt my sister again I would hunt him down and kick his ass. Now I get a call from sister today asking why I did that. Was I wrong to confront him?  AOL - oanda1027fm | ||||

I have older brothers and they are really protective of me but I realize that they are like that because they love me. I'm grateful that they watch out for me and even though your sister may not show it, I'm sure she feels somewhat the same way. If she doesn't realize now how lucky she is to have a good older brother she will eventually. And as for her being so bitchy, almost all teenage girls go through that phase where they are bitchy to their families. That'll probably change soon.  | ||||

My sister is almost 8 years younger than me, our parents split up about the time she started junior high so I have pretty much always had to be the "male role model" at least as far as judging her boyfriends. The girl has had a history of dating some of the most degenerate scum on the face of the planet. There was the 15 yr old who had the audacity to tell me to get the fuck out of my own house so that he could be alone with her and told me that if I touched him he would have me arrested for assaulting a minor..... yes it was nice to have my best friends younger brother 5 houses away to take care of that little mess. But perhaps the worst was the 28 yr. old she was dating when she was 16. Now nevermind the fact that in my eyes he was a kid toucher.... he made the fateful mistake of laying his hands upon her, a cardinal sin. Needless to say I took care of the situation, and I doubt he will be battering too many more women. The point is, that you have more experience and knowledge of the actual world, and as a man (yes, technically speaking, when you take the dress off, you are a man ;) ) you have the ability to see through the bullshit that we men lay down upon the ladies of the world. As an older brother it is in a lot of ways part of your job to protect her. You must do whatever you feel is right, but keep in mind that you have to allow her to make her own mistakes and learn her own lessons as well. Say hello to my little friend(s)! Once again I am newbieless. | ||||
